Here’s how to do it.
First apply facial oil (good option would be kosha oil or you msy find other oils in our store) and with medium pressure start slow strokes from the center of your chest to the sides. Then lighter pressure down the neck. And now more pressure, but still not too firm, upward and to the sides of your face.
 
Gua sha is such a holistic treatment, there is no wrong way to do it. It's important to follow your intuition on how much or how little feels good. I recommend using gua sha for a few minutes a day or as a treatment for 15-20  minutes once a week.
 
To clean your gua sha tool, just wash it with the water and a little soap or wipe with damp towel / paper towel.
